Day 1 - Arrival at Rajkot – Drive to Dwarka (Approx. 225 km / 5 hrs)
Upon arrival at Rajkot, you will be greeted by our representative and proceed towards the holy city of Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. On the way, enjoy the scenic drive through rural Gujarat. In the evening, visit the famous Dwarkadhish Temple, dedicated to Lord Krishna, and attend the mesmerizing Aarti at Gomti Ghat. Overnight stay at Dwarka.
Day 2 - Dwarka – Bet Dwarka – Nageshwar – Dwarka (Approx. 80 km round trip)
After breakfast, embark on an excursion to Bet Dwarka Island, accessible by a short ferry ride. Visit the ancient temple believed to be the residence of Lord Krishna. Later, visit the revered Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. Also stop at Rukmini Devi Temple and explore nearby attractions. Return to Dwarka for your overnight stay.
Day 3 - Dwarka – Porbandar – Somnath (Approx. 230 km / 5.5 hrs)
Today, drive to Somnath with an en route stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi. Visit Kirti Mandir, a memorial dedicated to Gandhi, and Sudama Temple, a rare shrine dedicated to Sudama, Lord Krishna’s childhood friend. Continue to Somnath, home to the sacred Somnath Jyotirlinga Temple, where the evening Aarti and Sound & Light Show narrates the temple’s historic significance. Overnight stay at Somnath.
Day 4 - Somnath – Diu – Somnath (Approx. 180 km round trip / 4 hrs total driving)
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Diu, a serene coastal town known for its Portuguese heritage and beautiful beaches. Visit Diu Fort, Naida Caves, St. Paul’s Church, Nagoa Beach, and INS Khukri Memorial. In the evening, return to Somnath and relax at your hotel.
Day 5 - Somnath – Sasan Gir (Approx. 70 km / 2 hrs)
Today, drive to Sasan Gir National Park, the only natural habitat of the Asiatic Lions. After check-in, enjoy an afternoon jeep safari inside the park where you may spot lions, leopards, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. Overnight stay at a wildlife resort near Gir.
Day 6 - Sasan Gir – Junagadh (Approx. 60 km / 1.5 hrs)
Early morning, head for another Gir Jungle Safari (optional) to maximize your chances of wildlife sightings. Later, drive to Junagadh, a historic city at the foothills of Mt. Girnar. Visit Uparkot Fort, Ashoka’s Rock Edicts, Mahabat Maqbara, and Buddhist caves. Overnight stay at Junagadh.
Day 7 - Junagadh – Rajkot (Approx. 105 km / 2.5 hrs)
After breakfast, depart for Rajkot, an important city of Saurashtra. On arrival, visit Watson Museum, Rotary Dolls Museum, Kaba Gandhi no Delo (ancestral home of Mahatma Gandhi), and explore the vibrant local markets. Overnight stay at Rajkot.
Day 8 - Departure from Rajkot
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Rajkot Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with cherished memories of your Dwarka, Somnath, Gir & Diu Tour.
