Day 1 - Arrival at Ahmedabad
Upon arrival at Ahmedabad, you will be welcomed and transferred to your hotel. Later, if time permits, visit the Sabarmati Ashram, Adalaj Stepwell, and the magnificent Akshardham Temple (closed on Mondays). Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 2 - Ahmedabad to Modhera – Patan (132 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Modhera, famous for the Sun Temple, a stunning 11th-century shrine dedicated to the Sun God. Continue your journey to Patan, renowned for the UNESCO-listed Rani ki Vav (Stepwell), an architectural masterpiece. Also explore Patan Patola weaving center known for its double ikat handloom textiles. Overnight stay in Patan.
Day 3 - Patan to Dholavira (236 Kms / 5 Hrs)
Today proceed to Dholavira, one of the five largest Harappan sites and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the excavation site of the Indus Valley Civilization, the museum showcasing ancient artifacts, and enjoy the breathtaking views of the White Rann from Fossil Park. Overnight stay at Dholavira.
Day 4 - Dholavira to Dhordo (90 Kms / 2 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Dhordo, the gateway to the Great Rann of Kutch. In the evening, witness the spectacular White Desert under the moonlight or sunset, an unforgettable experience. Enjoy local folk music and cultural performances during Rann Utsav (if in season). Overnight stay in Dhordo.
Day 5 - Dhordo to Mata no Madh – Koteshwar (153 Kms / 3 Hrs)
Today, drive to Mata no Madh, the famous temple dedicated to Ashapura Mata, the presiding deity of Kutch. Continue to Koteshwar Temple, situated at the westernmost tip of India, offering mesmerizing views of the Arabian Sea. Overnight stay at Koteshwar or nearby.
Day 6 - Koteshwar to Mandvi (146 Kms / 3 Hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the coastal town of Mandvi. Visit the Vijay Vilas Palace, a royal heritage residence, and relax at Mandvi Beach, known for its golden sand and camel rides. You may also explore the shipbuilding yard where traditional wooden ships are still crafted. Overnight stay in Mandvi.
Day 7 - Mandvi to Bhuj (58 Kms / 1 Hr)
This morning drive to Bhuj. On arrival, visit Aina Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), Prag Mahal, and the Bhujodi village, famous for its handicrafts and weaving. Evening free for shopping traditional Kutchi handicrafts. Overnight stay in Bhuj.
Day 8 - Bhuj to Ahmedabad (331 Kms / 7 Hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Ahmedabad. On arrival, you will be dropped at the airport/railway station for your onward journey with beautiful memories of Kutch.
