Day 1 - Arrival at Ahmedabad
On arrival at Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station, you will be greeted by our representative and transferred to your hotel. After freshening up, proceed for a half-day city tour of Ahmedabad. Visit the serene Sabarmati Ashram, the residence of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a visit to the beautifully carved Adalaj Stepwell – an architectural masterpiece. Later, explore the Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, famous for its intricate stone lattice windows, and take a stroll along the vibrant Manek Chowk market. Evening free to enjoy local delicacies such as Gujarati thali or street food. Overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Day 2 - Ahmedabad – Polo Forest (146 kms / 3 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to the lush and serene Polo Forest, nestled on the banks of the Harnav River and surrounded by the Aravalli Hills. On arrival, check in at your resort amidst nature. Later, explore the beauty of this hidden paradise with a short nature walk. The evening is free to enjoy the peaceful environment of the forest, away from the city’s hustle. Dinner and overnight stay at Polo Forest.
Day 3 - Polo Forest Sightseeing
Today after breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing of Polo Forest. Visit the ancient Jain and Hindu temples dating back to the 10th–15th century, showcasing fine stone carvings and historic charm. Explore the Polo Jain Derasar, Shiv Shakti Mandir, and the Surya Mandir. Later, enjoy nature activities like a guided trek through the forest, birdwatching, or simply relaxing by the Harnav Dam, which offers scenic views and a tranquil atmosphere. In the evening, return to your resort for a cultural evening and dinner. Overnight stay in Polo Forest.
Day 4 - Polo Forest – Shamlaji – Zanzari Waterfall – Ahmedabad (136 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, check out and drive back towards Ahmedabad. En route, stop at Shamlaji Temple, one of the prominent Vaishnav shrines in Gujarat, set amidst scenic hills and known for its intricate architecture. Later, proceed to the picturesque Zanzari Waterfall, located on the Vatrak River – a perfect spot for photography and enjoying nature’s beauty. Continue your journey to Ahmedabad. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Evening free at leisure or shopping for famous Gujarati handicrafts, Bandhani textiles, and souvenirs. Overnight stay at Ahmedabad.
Day 5 - Departure from Ahmedabad
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your flight/train schedule, you may opt to visit Kankaria Lake or indulge in some last-minute shopping at Law Garden Market. Later, transfer to Ahmedabad Airport / Railway Station for your onward journey, carrying wonderful memories of your Polo Forest and Ahmedabad tour.
