Day 1 - Ahmedabad – Little Rann of Kutch (166 kms / 4 hrs)
On arrival in Ahmedabad, meet our representative and begin your journey towards the Little Rann of Kutch, a unique landscape that is home to the world’s last refuge of the Asiatic Wild Ass. After check-in at your resort, enjoy lunch and later proceed for an evening jeep safari into the Wild Ass Sanctuary, where you can spot desert wildlife such as Blue Bulls, Desert Fox, Wolves, and migratory birds including Flamingos, Cranes, and Pelicans. Witness the traditional salt-panning process by local Agariya communities before returning to your resort for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - Little Rann of Kutch – Dholavira (210 kms / 5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Dholavira, one of the most prominent archaeological sites of the Indus Valley Civilization. Upon arrival, check-in at your stay and later visit the Dholavira Excavation Site which showcases the ancient Harappan city with its well-planned streets, water conservation system, and fascinating artefacts. In the evening, enjoy a walk to the Fossil Park and catch the stunning sunset over the White Rann near Dholavira, where the salt desert turns golden and pink with the fading light. Dinner and overnight stay in Dholavira.
Day 3 - Dholavira – Hodka (89 kms / 2 hrs)
Today, after breakfast, proceed to Hodka Village, a charming hamlet in the heart of Kutch known for its handicrafts and cultural experiences. En route, enjoy the scenic drive through the barren desert and colourful Kutchi villages. On arrival, check-in at your traditional Kutchi-style mud hut (Bhunga). In the evening, take an excursion to the White Rann of Kutch (Great Rann) to witness the breathtaking sunset over the endless salt desert. Return to your stay in Hodka and enjoy a cultural evening with folk music and dance performances around a bonfire. Overnight stay in Hodka.
Day 4 - Hodka – Bhuj (64 kms / 1.5 hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards Bhuj, the cultural capital of Kutch. Upon arrival, check-in at your hotel and later proceed for a city tour covering the Aina Mahal (Palace of Mirrors), Prag Mahal, and the Kutch Museum, which houses tribal artefacts and textiles. Visit the Swaminarayan Temple with its intricate carvings and take a stroll in the bustling Bhujodi village, famous for Kutchi handicrafts and weaving traditions. Evening free for shopping local textiles, embroidery, and silver jewellery. Overnight stay in Bhuj.
Day 5 - Bhuj – Mandvi – Bhuj (58 kms / 1 hr)
After breakfast, enjoy a day excursion to the coastal town of Mandvi. Visit the grand Vijay Vilas Palace, a royal residence set amidst beautiful gardens and once a shooting location for Bollywood films. Relax at the serene Mandvi Beach, where you can also see the 400-year-old shipbuilding yard still crafting wooden ships by hand. In the evening, return to Bhuj. Overnight stay at Bhuj.
Day 6 - Bhuj – Ahmedabad (331 kms / 7 hrs)
After an early breakfast, drive back to Ahmedabad. En route, you may stop at local villages to admire the handicrafts and traditional lifestyle of Kutch. On arrival in Ahmedabad, transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey, carrying unforgettable memories of the Rann of Kutch tour.
