Day 1 - Arrival At Rajkot
Upon your arrival at Rajkot, you will be warmly received and transferred to your hotel. Rajkot, the city associated with Mahatma Gandhi’s childhood, offers a glimpse into Saurashtra’s cultural heritage. Depending on your arrival time, you may visit Watson Museum, Kaba Gandhi No Delo, and the local markets for traditional handicrafts and Gujarati snacks. Overnight stay in Rajkot.
Day 2 - Rajkot to Jamnagar (90 kms / 2 hrs)
After breakfast, drive towards Jamnagar, a city renowned for its temples and beautiful lakes. On arrival, check in at your hotel. Later, visit the Lakhota Lake and Palace, Bala Hanuman Temple (famous for its continuous chanting of “Ram Dhun” since 1964 and listed in the Guinness Book of Records), and explore local tie-and-dye (Bandhani) markets. Overnight stay at Jamnagar.
Day 3 - Jamnagar to Dwarka (141 kms / 3 hrs)
This morning, head to the sacred town of Dwarka, one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. In the evening, visit the Dwarkadhish Temple and take part in the Aarti at sunset. Stroll along the Gomti Ghat to feel the spiritual aura of this holy city. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 4 - Dwarka Sightseeing
Today, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Dwarka. Visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple (one of the 12 Jyotirlingas in India), Bet Dwarka Island (accessible by boat and believed to be Lord Krishna’s residence), Rukmini Devi Temple, and Gopi Talav. In the evening, return to the Dwarkadhish Temple for the magnificent evening Aarti. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Day 5 - Dwarka to Somnath (234 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Somnath, another of Gujarat’s most revered temple towns. On the way, stop at Porbandar, the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi, and visit Kirti Mandir and Sudama Temple. Continue your journey to Somnath. In the evening, witness the divine Somnath Temple Aarti followed by the Sound and Light Show that narrates the temple’s glorious history. Overnight stay at Somnath.
Day 6 - Somnath to Diu (86 kms / 2 hrs)
This morning, proceed towards the coastal town of Diu, a former Portuguese colony known for its serene beaches and heritage forts. After check-in, explore Diu Fort, St. Paul’s Church, and Naida Caves. Later, relax at Nagoa Beach and enjoy the laid-back charm of Diu. Overnight stay in Diu.
Day 7 - Diu to Junagadh (150 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive to Junagadh, a city steeped in history and culture. Visit the grand Uparkot Fort, Ashoka’s Rock Edicts, Mahabat Maqbara, and the serene Girnar Hills (famous for its Jain temples and pilgrimage). Evening is free to explore Junagadh’s local bazaars. Overnight stay in Junagadh.
Day 8 - Junagadh to Sasan Gir (58 kms / 2 hrs)
Today, take a short drive to Sasan Gir, the only natural habitat of the Asiatic Lions. After check-in, enjoy an exciting Jeep Safari in Gir National Park to spot lions, leopards, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Spend the evening at leisure amidst nature. Overnight stay at Sasan Gir.
Day 9 - Sasan Gir to Rajkot (171 kms / 4 hrs)
After breakfast, drive back to Rajkot. Depending on your flight/train schedule, you can do a short city tour or shopping for local handicrafts before departure, carrying wonderful memories of your Saurashtra journey.
